④ Element Multiplier
※This corresponds to the red underlined section and represents the first "multiplicative calculation" in elemental damage.
There are three multiplicative calculations in the elemental damage formula.
※Elemental damage is applied only when the attack matches the monster's elemental weakness (*).
*Even if it is not listed as a weakness, it may still be treated as a weak point under certain conditions.
(Example: Some parts of Magnamalo can be weak to Thunder.)
List of Applicable Skills
| Skill Name | Lv1 | Lv2 | Lv3 | Lv4 | Lv5 | Condition |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Critical Element | 30% | 40% | 50% | 60% | 80% | Applies only on critical hits (does not apply to negative or brutal criticals) |
| Charge Master | 10% | 25% | 40% | 55% | 70% | Only applies to charged attacks |
The calculations for this skill group are performed before the "⑤ Element Attack Up" skill group is applied, so increases from elemental attack boosts are not affected.
Since the multiplier for "Critical Element" is very high, the higher the weapon's elemental value, the greater the benefit.
(For some weapons, such as certain Elder Dragon weapons, the effect is weaker due to lower elemental values.)
In addition to skills, the following parameters are also added as part of the same Element Multiplier group.
| Item | Effect | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Switch Axe Power Element Phial | 25% | Sword mode only |
| Hunting Horn Melody: Element Value Up (S) | 6% | - |
| Hunting Horn Melody: Element Value Up (L) | 12% | - |
| Hunting Horn Melody: Element Attack Up | 16% | - |
